The Capitals will practice at 10:30 a.m. today at MedStar Capitals Iceplex ahead of Friday’s Game 3 at Capital One Arena. Washington finished the regular season with a record of 22-12-7 at home, including a 9-3-2 (.714 P%) record in their last 14 games at Capital One Arena.

Per Natural Stat Trick, the Capitals outshot the Rangers 20-16 at five-on-five in Game 2 and held a 20-11 edge in scoring chances and a 7-3 advantage in high-danger scoring chances.
